WinZip Command Line is a program that allows you to control and configure WinZip directly from the command prompt. It lets you use WinZip directly from the command prompt and from batch (BAT) files and script languages, making it ideal for automating repetitive tasks.

- A switch for zipping and unzipping that enables hardware acceleration using any available GPU that supports OpenCL.

- Improved Compression. PPMd and bzip2 compression methods provide greater compression for many types of files.
- Supports “Best” method zip operations which now include the new LZMA and Jpeg compression along with the existing PPMd, bzip2, and WavPack compression methods.
- Supports "Password Policies" to designate the minimum length and character set of passwords and passphrases as well as the allowable encryption methods.
- File level comments can now be stored using UNICODE characters

    Pros: It vastly extends what can be done with Winzip
    Cons: It doesn't come with the install package

    This package allows the user to vastly extend what can be done with this archiving program. I use it to automatically add comments as I create zips, make backups, etc.
